Hey there Oven, remember me? Yeah, I kind of don’t either. As you may have noticed (or not, depending on how much of your life is focused on my tiny little blog), I haven’t been around much lately. I’ve been working A LOT and as a result not a lot of other things are getting done. No theme for November or December. My baking list has been slashed a couple of times. Still squeezing in a few tasty treats here and there, but not nearly what I had planned (and shopped!) for. A few weeks ago I found a recipe for apple cheddar muffins that looked fairly promising, but ended up falling flat. Way too much baking powder, really bland apples, and you could barely tell there was cheese involved. I knew they had potential, I just had to figure out what their secret desire was.
